Before the app, funded traders on Goat Funded Trader had no mobile presence. They relied entirely on desktop dashboards and email notifications,missing real-time drawdown alerts, unable to check P&L on the go, and disconnected from a community that was already thriving on social.

The result: higher anxiety, lower confidence, and a growing churn risk.

No mobile presence — Traders could not access account data or act on positions away from a desktop.

Missed critical alerts — Drawdown breaches went unnoticed until traders returned to a computer — too late.

Friction in payouts — Requesting withdrawals required navigating a complex web flow with multiple logins.

Community disconnect — Competitions and Goat Points felt invisible traders didn't know they were missing rewards.

In the rapidly evolving world of digital finance, cryptocurrency trading has become increasingly accessible, attracting a diverse range of users from seasoned traders to crypto newcomers. WX is a crypto exchange app designed with the primary goal of helping users seamlessly trade crypto assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, and USDC. The app aims to simplify the complex world of cryptocurrency trading by providing a user-friendly platform that caters to all experience levels, ensuring secure and efficient transactions

Role - Lead UI Designer

I was contracted as the lead designer for the WX app, a crypto exchange platform developed by ZEDEF Technologies. The primary goal of the app was to enable users to buy, sell, and swap cryptocurrency assets, focusing on major assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, and USDC. I collaborated closely with a team of engineers and designers at ZEDEF to bring this project to life.

Once the project manager provided the necessary documentation, I analyzed the information and translated it into detailed user flows with corresponding user stories for each use case. These were shared with the team for review and feedback.

To enhance the user experience for crypto transactions, I conducted a competitive analysis of similar apps, gathering insights and design inspiration to refine the WX app and ensure it effectively met users' needs.

Buying, selling and swapping assets

The app is designed to offer streamlined experience for buying, selling, and swapping assets on it’s own blockchain. Through extensive user research and a simplified interface, users would be able effortlessly navigate the platform to complete these transactions.

How to we plan on increasing users?

One of our major concern while working on the app is the process we get to increase our user base, this led us to adding the referral feature which allows users to invite others using their referral link and they earn on every transaction their referred party carries out.

One major feature to be added to the WX app was the P2P feature which would enable users to buy and sell USDT and USDC right on the app with secured and verified buyers.

Along side the intern on the team, I also worked on the admin end which controls the transaction activity on the app. The admin dashboard for the crypto exchange app was designed as a powerful tool that empowers administrators to efficiently manage their operations while ensuring security and compliance. with admin being able to manage transactions, resolve disputes and many more
